Partner – Jeremy Panzella
Jeremy Panzella is the supervising Partner of the Litigation Department at Menicucci Villa Panzella Calcagno PLLC, which handles a wide scope of general civil matters and civil litigation, including: corporate litigation, contract litigation, real estate litigation, domestic relations, estate litigation and personal injury. Mr. Panzella is licensed to practice law in all Courts of the State of New York and is also admitted in the Federal Courts of the Eastern District and Southern District of New York. Mr. Panzella has had several notable successes in New York State and Federal Courts, including appellate successes that have gone on to be cited in law journals, court decisions, and legal texts such as the New York Practice Series: Commercial Litigation in the New York State Courts, Williston on Contracts, Holtszchue on Real Estate Contracts and the American Law Review. Mr. Panzella is the firm’s senior trial attorney.
Mr. Panzella is a member of the Staten Island Trial Lawyers Association, where he formerly sat on the Board of Directors, the New York State Trial Lawyers Association; the New York State Bar Association; and the Richmond County Bar Association, where he previously served as the Chairmen of the Ethics Committee. Mr. Panzella also previously served on the Young Executives Committee of the Italy America Chamber of Commerce, helping to plan and execute new initiatives, charitable fundraisers, and networking events.
Prior to and concurrent with his law school education, Mr. Panzella worked for a firm specializing in personal injury, tort and negligence law. Prior to joining Menicucci Villa Panzella Calcagno PLLC, Mr. Panzella spent several years running the litigation department of a boutique law firm on Wall Street, which focused on commercial and real estate transactions. Jeremy joined the firm in 2013, and went on to be named an equity Partner of the firm several years thereafter.
A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Panzella was the recipient of the Lisle Scholarship and various recognitions and CALI Awards in commercial paper and real estate/land use. He received his B.A. in English Literature, cum laude, from St. John’s University. Mr. Panzella is also a qualified Court Referee and attorney for judicial appointees. When he is not practicing law, Mr. Panzella enjoys spending time with his family, and coaching basketball, being one of the members of the coaching staff of St. Joseph by the Sea High School.
